The submission deadline for the first anthology of Tacoma-authored poetry is drawing near! Monday, February 23 at 5 pm will the last time stamp accepted on submissions for In Tahoma’s Shadow.
The anthology for Tacoma-area poets is to be published in April 2009 by Exquisite Disarray Publishing.
Exquisite Disarray is a non-profit publishing group formed just last year (round about the inaugural appointment of Tacoma’s first poet laureate, William Kupinse), with a purpose is to “complement the activities of the Tacoma literary-arts community by providing a forum for publication of local writers.” They are mainly funded by a grant from the Tacoma Arts Commission, with support for the first anthology by the Board of Exquisite Disarray, UPS, and Urban Grace Church.
You can submit up to three poems people, and you have three days to write them! Time to get cracking, Tacoma!
