Pay What You Can Theatre TONIGHT! (5/27)

Thursday May 27 is Pay What You Can Night  for DOUBT, MAJOR BARBARA  & THE GRAPES OF WRATH.

PWYC nights are the biggest gift a theatre can give to its community… a chance to see fantastic, full-value theatre for whatever the audience is willing and able to pay. $5, $10, $50? All ticket prices happily accepted!
Just get there early to ensure you have a seat!

Speaking as an actor, PWYC nights are always my favorite audience:  People who really want to be there, who might not otherwise be able to afford the ticket price–you just can’t beat the energy of a crowd that is pleased to be there, and thankful for the gift. I understand—I’m often one of those crowds!

My only complaint with tonight’s PWYC offerings is that I’ll have to choose which show to see…

BUT: Thanks to cooperation between theatre houses, here’s an extra deal!
Bring your Doubt ticket stub and get $5 off the ticket price for Major Barbara or Grapes of Wrath!

Doubt: A Parable by John Patrick Shanley

“In this brilliant and powerful drama, Sister Aloysius, a Bronx school principal, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn of improper relations with one of the male students.  Certainty, doubt, and duty struggle for the upper-hand, and ‘right’ is as elusive as the truth.”
